When I was a little lad, Auntie Meryl and Uncle Geoff were such welcoming characters. We would anticipate with joy their company as we knew they were kind, would show a true interest in us and, importantly for us at that age, they were fun. This warmth never ceased as we grew up. More recently, Elin and Iestyn have been fortunate to have experienced Auntie Meryl’s delightful character and I know that even ‘doing the rounds’ at Christmas and Easter will not be the same, next year. We’ll miss catching up. We’re very grateful to have known her and she remains a memorable part of our Grandad Ivor’s ‘crew’, as we saw them, as children. Many thanks from us. Cysga’n dawel, Auntie Meryl. Owain, Hannah, Elin & Iestyn. XxX
